Finally the final schedule of the bilateral series between Bangladesh and England has been published. BCB released the schedule of pre-scheduled series. The series will begin with the first ODI match against England on March 1, 2023 in Mirpur.
England cricket team will set foot in Bangladesh on February 24. Then the bilateral series with Bangladesh will start with the first ODI at the Mirpur National Cricket Stadium on March 1. England will play three ODI matches with Bangladesh in this tour. Then three T20 matches will be played. The team will play three ODIs on March 1, 3 and 6. After that, the bilateral series will end by playing three T20 matches on March 9, 12 and 14.

As previously mentioned, the proximity of the Test match series in New Zealand and the ODIs in Bangladesh make it nearly impossible to tell who has been dropped from at least the ODI squad. Although Ben Duckett struggled against South Africa he is unavailable for selection for the ODI squad, along with Harry Brook and Olly Stone from the squad in South Africa. Joe Root is also still absent from fifty-over cricket and although Will Jacks has yet to make his ODI debut it’s hard to think if he was available he wouldn’t be in the selectors’ minds given his performance in franchise leagues and inclusion in the T20I squad.
